Living in Portland and being a photographer means you pretty much have to shoot the Japanese Gardens. It only took 6 years of living in the area before I visited and did so 
. We went up there with our good friends Nick and Julie in October. It’s taken me this long to get around to editing them. Here are a couple takes on the gardens, including the famous maple tree.

Went hiking this weekend with Ken and Sarah. We hiked up to the Rock of ages arch and dropped off a geocache trackable item. Stopped by Multnomah Falls and Horsetail falls as well. Here are a couple of pics. Learning more and more how to use the new camera. Amazing what a difference having the correct white balance setting is.
