Amanda and I went on a 7 mile loop hike out to Ramona Falls in the Mt Hood Wilderness. Beautiful trail, and an awesome waterfall. Here’s a few pictures taken along the way.
A couple weeks ago, Amanda and I went on a hike to Dog Mountain. Dog Mountain is famous locally for its spectacular wildflowers sometime between May and June. last year we went a little too early and missed the balsomroot flowers blooming . Below are some of the best photos from the trip. As a side note, I’m slowly working on re-designing my blog and hopefully updating more often.
One of the features is the new image gallery/viewer. Click on each of the pics for a larger size of the photo.
Here are a few more pictures taken while Kate and I went snowshoeing this past Saturday. The weather turned out to be much nicer than last week when Amanda and I visited Trillium Lake. This lake is beautiful and popular in the summer time and calm and peaceful in the winter time.
Here’s a comparison shot in the summer:

Finally, the view of Mt Hood while standing on the frozen Frog Lake:

Amanda, Kate and I headed up to Mt Hood for some snowshoeing. It was our first time and absolutely gorgeous! Here’s a couple of pictures.
