Catching Up Part 1

Working through a backlog of images that I’ve been meaning to get to. Mostly from a couple trips to the coast. Trying to get completely caught up so I can continue working on all of the images taken from our trip to Italy and Greece this past summer. I’ve been slacking too much I know.

From a trip to crater lake. Not quite the fresh snow and partial cloudiness I hoped for, hence the black and white treatment:

Timberline Lodge, one of my favorite places, and where I’ve spent a lot of the winter snowboarding:

Skibowl Adventures

While new snow around here lately has been non-existent, Chad and I took a weeknight trip a couple weeks back to Skibowl for some night riding and skiing. From the top of ski bowl we were met with clear skies, and a fantastic sunset. We could see Rainier, Adams, Hood, St Helens and Jefferson from the ridge. We just stopped and watched the sunset, with some killer alpenglow on Hood.

Timberline Photos

I recently took my Canon XSI up to Timberline lodge on a snowboard day to take some photos of my buddy Nate for his yearbook. Below are a couple photos from the day, which also includes Nates friend Josh. I don’t normally take the nice camera up since I’m afraid of falling with it, but as I’m getting better, I may have to bring it up there more often :)

Here’s the Timberline Snowcat which is typically parked by the lodge:

This shot was taken at the top of the magic mile. On of my favorite places to be on a clear day!
