Frankfurt Airport 08/02/05 2:30pm German Time

Here we are sitting at the Frankfurt, Germany Airport, one flight away from Moscow, Russia. I wanted to write on the flight here, but it was so cramped I didn’t want to try and get to the journal.

The flight was good – very long and hard to sleep. I think I got 2 or 3 hours of sleep on the plane, which means I’ll be exhausted come time to land in Moscow. Most of the time I was awake on the plane, I listened to music. It was very soothing as I’m somewhat nervous/excited to see what God is going to do on this trip. I’m excited to give myself to be used in whatever way I’m needed. Its hard to not stress over all of the little details, but I have faith God will pull everything together just fine. When the trip was first brought up a year ago, Amanda and I both felt a tugging to go, which was something I normally wouldn’t feel, so here we are. A few trials, worries, and doubts along the way, but we persevered and here we are.

I finished up “The Sacred Marriage” on the plane, and oddly enough the last chapter was about your “mission” as a couple. I am very excited to be doing this alongside Amanda (who’s asleep in the airport right now :) ). My prayer right now is that everyone will just allow God to use them, and that we can all get along and not let stresses bother us.
